The apartment enjoys full sun all day, overlooks the bay of Port de Sóller and the mountains, and is very quiet and peaceful day and night. But 50 metres through the front door and immediately you find a wide selection of cafes, bars and restaurants, and yachts moored all along the quay. Port de Soller Sailing School is at the beach and offers a full range of sailing courses and tuition. The Scuba diving school is near too and is fully catered for. Sóller valley is surrounded by the Tramontana Sierra and is an idyllic spot to path tracking lovers. The apartment leads either to the mountain peaks trough wonderful countryside paths, or to the seaside. Port de Sóller and Sóller share its valley with the village of Fornalutx and the hamlet of Biniaraix; the combined population is around 15,000, and the valley is famous for its orange groves and terraces of ancient olive trees. The artist village of Deią is just down the coast.
