Sóller is one of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca. It is located on the west coast of the island, and has a peculiar and different history from the rest of the island due to its geographical location. The so-called Valley of Oranges is surrounded by mountains, which make up the Sierra de Tramuntana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This topography makes it an ideal place for growing citrus fruits.

Oranges, lemons, mandarins and clementines are symbols of the place, which has an interesting history of export to France and emigration to the Caribbean. The result of this past is an important architectural example of the valley, linked to the modernist style.
